UserData files installed into "My Third Party Content." Why?

Hi. I was forced to upgrade my external hard drive to accomidate my DAZ stuff. I thought I had all of the proceedures down before I did so. However, for some strange reason the UserData files I save now after installing a new produt goes into "My Third Party Content/Runtime/Support/" folder, instead of the "My DAZ 3D Library/Runtime/Support/" . Why? How can I rectify this, since there doesn't seem to be a way to see, or change, the UserData path. Also, it was two files before the switch, but now it is only one file. Why?

The UserData usually goes into the first Library (mapped folder) in your Content Set (see Content Directory Manager). Select the one you want to use first, then use the Move buttons to position it where you want in the list.
Ensure that the new drive is mapped as a Content folder. If it was left out, you UserData would not be saved for content on that disc.
That worked, as you knew it would. Thank you.
Why did it reduce the file size from two UserData files down to one? I didn't lose any products, as far as I can tell.
You wouldn't lose Products, per se, but you might have omitted some metadata associated with them. A UserData dsx file has a maximum size of about 30 MB, so if some data were missed, it probably all fit into one file. Try exporting it again, and you will probably get two files this time.
Is there some other way to check for data loss? I use the DIM install method, exclusively.
Hm. The UserData file is only 16+ MBs. I have the same Content on my other PC. Perhaps I will load its UserData files and see what happens.
The PC all of this started with has 4026 files reported in Smart Content. The one I just mentions only seems to have 3978. I have no clue as to why this PC has less files. It has the oldest installation, after which I bought a Lenovo Legion and that one is the one I just upgraded. It's loading the UserFiles now. Hopefully, the count will be the 4026, but if not, I will load the single UserData file. If all else fails. I will delete the User file and re-save.
It is most likely still in the database, it just could not link it to real assets. Check your third-party products to see if any metadata you added is still there (icon flashes like Actor, Materials, Pose, etc.) The metadata created when installing (if none is provided by the product itself) is not UserData, but is stored as Vendor data, most of which is really just a list of assets for the product that is displayed in the Product view.
The count remianed the same, 4026. Here's the interesting part; when I saved out another UserData file after loading the three UserData files from my Desktop PC, it re-saved as only one file. Nothing seems to be missing. SO, I wonder if UserData files can build up bloat? I might have to make this a separate question. For now, I'll see if anything erroneous happens.
