Maybe I'm just a noob, but I wanted to encourage more of this way of implementing expressions, in the future for other developers.

I can't tell you how many times I've been dissapointed with expression packs, post purchase, when the amount of the expression applied is unusable on a character.

I hope that others implement the use of dials when expressions are applied, so we can dial in the amount that works with a character, without distorting the face drastically.

Also, I would love if this partial expression application was used more often in others releases.

Just my two cents!

    Agreed, big time!

Most of the time I only use a few expressions out of an expression pack.  Too often many are bad, and some are comically bad to the point I get a good laugh.  laugh

I know that's not the PA's fault, that can mostly be due to the character morphs.  But if there was a dial to adjust how much that expression is applied it would probably make the expression pack far more useful.

Might have to give these a look. Originally I didn't even bother since I have no interest in the Girl 7 and the promos are all done with her, so it kinda makes a person wonder how they look on V7 for instance.

Both new Capsces Tooned Expressions for the Girl 7 and for the Guy 7 have dialed expressions as well, the Girl version coming with additional one click presets too. I think Capsces said that was because it have been the first sets he/she did this way.

I got both sets but did not have the chance to install yet, as I'm going to build a new PC this month. I just love the promo images and I have no doubt most of these expressions work great on non-toons as well, at least if only dialed in to some degree.

Are you saying that there are products with only presets that apply 100% and don't have dials?  All the expression sets I've ever had, had parameter dials.  They rarely had presets, which would just be user interfacing files, but always dials.

Same here. Even when the expressions came with the character, like Oliver, (FW Oliver HD Megapack.) However, I would also like to see dials for partial expressions. Sometimes I want just the look of the eyes, for example—which includes the brows and cheeks and so on—but not the smile that goes with it.

Yes, most of my older expression sets do not present the dial settings in the way that these sets do. They are much less user friendly, and provide you with more of an all or nothing approach.

These sets are newer and I like the way they are set up. Anything that makes my work easier makes me happy.
