Odd issue with items not conforming to model after posing. Solved

edited April 25 in Daz Studio Discussion

When I downloaded Daz 2025 I did a few tests to see how it looked. One of the tests involved Penny 8 HD. Daz 2025 froze up as Penny 8 HD was loading and I had to kill D2025 using task manager. And now I have an issue with Penny 8 HD even in Daz 4.23 as well as 2025. I can load Penny 8 HD into a scene, and fit clothes to her, but when I change her pose from the base 'A' pose, anything fitted to her,... clothes, eyebrows, etc, don't follow the pose and end up in weird places on her. I have no issue with any other model so far and even the regular Penny 8 is fine. I figured it was a file corruption somewhere in Penny 8 HD. I've tried uninstalling both Penny 8 and the HD version and even gone into the diectories and manually deleted all the files in data, people, and runtime, and then reinstalled them after restarting my pc. I still have the issue. Any one got any ideas what might be happening?

Looks like the parent figure scale is not being passed along to the conformers, which you probably already figured out yourself, I have no idea why that would happen though.

  • No idea why either. However, having slept on the issue, I did another uninstall, delete, restart, reinstall, and Penny 8HD works just fine again. Who knows?

Does the fitted items actually lists as being fitted to the character?

They did. I unfitted, refitted, and even deleted and reloaded items, including new items that weren't part of the initial problem.  They all loaded skewy except in the A pose.
