This question is kinda moot as I can't find it to download either, but when (if) I can download it, will it overwrite Daz 4.23 or create it's own directories and folders?

If it is anything like past beta builds it will more than likely be a separate install.

We can reasonably expect even the general release of 2025 to be separate from 4.X.

We can also, reasonably expect, that when you announce something like this, the download actually works, but here we go ...

Is there a way to get a manual download and manual install?

I try to keep multiple versions of DS for testing purposes and find the only way is to do a manual install, and DIM is something I try to keep well away from due to the number of freebies I use/create and my wish to maintain my own library organisation.

    Regards,

    Richard

No there isn't. It's only available through DIM like all the Betas

Thanks. I'll wait until it develops into a manually downloadable package then.

not sure if any advantages I need on an older card, so will wait and see what others have to say

could be interesting to see how it behaves on my older Win7 rig without a GPU ithough

that PC has a lot of other issues though

In the 'Ready to Install' tab of DIM, if you uncheck 'Delete Package Once Installed', the installer will remain in the folder set as 'Package Archive'.

  • Exactly the same here, but Daz Studio 2025 is nowhere to be found...

Glad to see I'm not alone. Look forward to trying it when it's finally available.

    From the announcement page:

Note: The Studio 2025 Alpha Release is only available through Install Manager, consists of its own unique set of SKUs, and does not affect the 4.x release channels

dbmelvin1993 Have you tried checking "Display Hidden" if it's there, then something isn't set up properly in your settings.

I have tried everything already, including "Display Hidden", there is no Daz Studio 2025 in the list.

My only question that hasn't been asked is will the public release of 2025 be a paid for program, going on the completely different naming convention?

Check it again. I see it now in DIM.

Closing this. It was not on the servers, PAs did have their own version which is why they saw it.
