When DIM installs something it creates a "manifest file" which lists which files were installed, when and where. Those files are what it uses to determine what is installed and what was updated since then.
If you want your DIM on your new PC to recognize your old content as installed you need to copy the "manifest files" from your old DIM into the Manifest folder your new DIM uses.
You need to point the new DIM to that HDD and location of the files for it to show in DIM if all the content was on that drive. Depending on if you can still get to some of the files, you may need to edit a few files in a text editor.
As expected things are going absolutely awry... I copied two 4 TB HDD to 8 Tb including the "user" disk where DIM are supposed to be
I changed my windows boot disk for an NVME in the mean time.
My 8 TB disks are now "RAW"
As usual I will have to reinstall everything from scratch ; unless EaseUS works (since both HDD have just be copied from the two 4 Tb I may have a chance
