Possibility to restore user interface settings

There was a hard shutdown of my PC after which my entire Daz interface reverted to the default state and I guess it won't go back on its own.

So, is there any way to restore my previous settings? I have a number of old backups for everything but I don't understand which files I should copy

    Go to C:\users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio Public Build and find the file named Layout.dsx, deleting it will restore the default one once you run DAZ Studio again.

    If you want your interface to be safe, just set that file to read-only by right clicking on it and selecting Properties after setting your panes as you like.

    From now on nothing will affect your interface anymore.

    The only bad point is every time you need to alter your interface you have to go again to that folder, disable the read-only thing, make the changes and make it read-only again.

    Thanks! I grabbed that file from one of my backups and it worked!
