Is there a way to delete all other keys than the ones you want to use on a character?
Hello!
A while back I asked the question in the discussion title in a very vague way, so I am trying again.
I make animations, and the time it takes to merge, or copy and paste a pose into the timeline can take up to several minutes, if all the keys are coded in as a default. I would like all unused keys not to be copied into the timeline; that is the jist of it.
Do I really have to, when I first make the character and save it as a subscene with grafts, clothes etc., go through and delete ALL of the unused keys? or is there some shortcut to do that without having to use an afternoon doing it for every character. For people who concentrate on a few or one character(s), that may not be that big of an issue... but I have 100+ characters, which I have to constantly keep an eye on when assets get updated, or when I find new assets I like better. That in and of itself is a huge selfinflicted timesink.
So is there a way to delete ALL of the dialed in morphs and poses (not really they are at 0.0000%, but still get added to the timeline if you don't delete them before merging a pose or copying a key, and paste it in the timeline) keys, instead of having to delete them all one by one manually?
regards,
gooHero
ps. has anyone actually gotten their hands on a 5090? Here in my country the price just hit $3.259,98 (converted directly from my currency DKK today) for the cheapest version. If so, is it worth it at all? I have seen many youtube videoes absolutely slamming it, compared to price and earlier versions; but never in connection to rendering and previewing something, or working with 3d programmes, always games.
Edit: I guess one way is to lock all "currently used properties" + favourites when I am done with morphing, and then just delete the whole properties key in the timeline. I am fiddling with this now, but it's just impossible to do this retroactively and not waste days of your time on already created scenes ^_^ and if I then open Daz the next time, only to find out that all of the 0.0% values get reintroduced and that it is temporary, I will sh** my pants. Edit2: yep, it didn't help. After reloading Daz it once again plops in ALL of the 0.0% keyed values :-( it's so dumb.

Can't answer the animation question, but don't bother with a 50xx series for studio, they aren't supported currently.
You can edit which proeprties are keyed in the option menu. I don't think there is a built-in way to clear keys from prioerpties that have only zero values, or to have only one key if they have the same value throughout, though I think it should be scriptable.
