What the heck happened to my menus

Nothing is where it's supposed to be. If I go into the edit menu there's no longer a Zero Figure / Zero Figure Pose option. Object only has the option to parent it to another item. Where have all the old features been moved to?

I can no longer even create a new light or new camera? What the hell is with this new menu layout in 4.9?

Is this just the way the menus are now in 4.9? I've reset things to factory default in the preferences but my menus are still completely messed up. I can't subdivide, I can't convert an object to a figure. I can't apply smoothing modifier. All the function I had in the edit menu in 4.8 are no longer there in 4.9.

This is horribly frustrating. More and more I'm starting to wish I'd never upgraded to 4.9

No. My 4.9 is still the same. Sounds like you scrambled the default layout of the menus some how. You should open a ticket with DAZ Support. Look in these forums under the Products -> DAZ Studio Discussion and you'll see a link to contact DAZ support and open a ticket.

Thanks! It took a few tries but I got the old layout back again. I don't know why it ever switched in the first place.

You're welcome. That's one of those weird out of nowhere bugs that, while annoying, is usually a pretty easy fix.

Try running the "Update and Merge Menus" script.

It was making me think I was losing my mind because I was "I could have sworn I used these menus in 4.9 and they were still the same as 4.8".  Good to know I'm not going crazier than I already am.
