Barstool+Back Prop

SquishySquishy Posts: 707

A simple model of a square barstool with a back rest, the stool is a bit taller than the usual but you can scale it as needed. UVmapped and have basic Iray materials. To use, simply load from the content library and place as desired in your scene. The materials and proportions match my earlier bar props release.

NB: Usual caveat about complex materials, mainly reflection, take these into account when setting up your scene/lighting and when rendering.

Download: Google Drive

Note: Due to the impending closure of ShareCG I won't be bothering to post items for download there any more. I don't like having all my content at a single source of access, and also it isn't super easy to browse my whole catalog of free items (it's gotten a bit large) so I am open to suggestions for alternative hosting sites for D|S content that are reasonably easy for people to reach and browse.

If the zipped model size is under 5Mb, it's possible to post it here as the second source.

The problem is that the models get lost easily in this forum. What would be nice is a re-vamp of Chohole's 'Compilation of Links to Freebies' & maybe permit each freebie creator have a single indexing post that they can edit to go out to threads with their freebies in this forum.

Freebies that get too big to post on this forum are generally those with large textures. If a smaller texture or jpg texture instead of png is included then it may be possible to post here with most models.

There is Devient Art, but I must admit I have never tried to upload anything there.

    Regards,

    Richard

Edited to add: I have referenced many of my freebies on PoserDazFreebies, so that is one way you could have a collected index that doesn't rely on there being an adequate search system here. @DollyGirl is probably the best person to contact about that.

    Thanks for the nice chair.

Renderosity could be an option. I think there's a limit to how many freebies you can upload per day (3?), so it might take a bit of time to reupload all your items.

Renderhub and 3DShards also have freebies, not sure what the requirements are to post a freebie on these sites though.
