Create a morph from hair with smoothing modifier on it?

[Create a morph from hair with smoothing modifier on it?] Any way to do this? When I export the obj and import it with morph loader and apply it, the transforms from the scene get applied. Every tutorial i see seems to have a bunch of info i don't need. I can limp along in blender if need be, with sufficient hand-holding.

What do you mean "transforms from the scene"? Are you trying to create the morph on a poses figure, or with your figure not at world zero?

I'm an idiot: I thought auto-fit was falling short on this particular hair because the fit was way off: turns out I was using the incorrect source figure: i loaded a saved version autofitted to a different figure without realizing it.

Would still be interested to know if there's a way to do that, though. :)

Reverse that idiot comment, or double it. Auto-fit IS totally screwing up a bunch of conversions to G9. Just checked like three hairs I assumed i converted wrong and I'm getting the same problem.

Regular modelled hair or strand-based dForce hair?
