Question about Install Manager

I had to redownload my entire DAZ library recently, and I noticed that the total amount of file size for everything I had purchased from the Shop totalled a file size in the higher 200 GB range.  When I downloaded them at first, it took up 200 MB of my hard drive space, and when I installed those files afterwards it added the same amount of file size to my hard drive.  This should not be the case.

Is there any way for me to find and delete the downloaded files without having to delete the already installed files?  I should have used up just under 300 GB of hard drive space, not over 500 GB.

In DIM you can set it to delete the zip after installation.

If you haven't deleted them there look in the settings for where it save the downloads, and you can delete them from there.

A content library of 300 GB is rather minor by the way.

I prefer to free up as much space possible, as I am very protective of my computer.  I did find the folder where the downloads are saved, and deleted them - thus freeing up the well over 200 GB of space.

If possible, I'd suggest saving the installers but on an external or secondary drive. It's always good to have a master backup of everything. Most importantly, a copy of Daz Studio itself. If you update to a version that doesn't work for some reason for you, you still have a backup of the previous version. You can set DIM up to save the zip to that separate drive so it never gets saved on your primary drive.

Assuming you are using DIM, you can set it to save the zips instead of deleting them after installation. The downloads path is in advanced settings.
