HDRIs of cityscapes for window views
I see so many beautiful examples in product promos of views from the windows of all these urban apartments, but I'm struggling to find any HDRIs that do exactly this. Most of the cityscape HDRI products you see are of images taken from ground level, which makes sense - until you want to have something from a much higher elevation, like a highrise apartment. It would be nice to have day, night and sunset versions of the same view, or maybe some with different weather conditions.

I would think that most are just pictures.
Making a HDRI from there would be difficult unless you had access to a flat rooftop.
Yes, I would imagine so. But those backgrounds come from somewhere, so it's clearly achievable. I'm aware of the Cityscape Backdrops by ImagineX, but they have their limitations. I suppose the alternative is for me to make my own in Daz Studio, render them out and then learn how to make HDRIs. But I do think it would be a good commercial project for any PA, who would undoubtedly do it better than me.
They most likely come from stock photo sites where you can look for photographs of cities done with drone shots. In most cases, this is how it's being achieved, not by magically making those in HDRIs.
Well, however they're made, I think it would be a commercially viable product for some PA.
I don't think so. If you can get your own from stock photo sites and put them on the planes or even just render without background add them in postwork, why would you pay much more money for them here? A single image can be under $1 if you get a bulk download deal—hard to beat that. And there's not secret sauce here. Go to a stock photo site. Buy (or download a free one) city scape image. Put it on a plane in Daz or add as background after you rendered your image. The only trick is matching the light outside to the inside one, but that's what you'd need HDRIs for or some postwork adjustments.
