Shadow Catcher?

It's been a while, but I am pretty sure that it's possible to build a shadow catcher in Studio without too much hoop-jumping.
Effectively, I need to put a "wall" where I'm going to end up inserting a photograph in post. I am not convnved that just putting the image on an environment plane would work.
So, I need to create a primitive plane and position it, Set it to not be visible in the render. But still be able to catch any shadow that might fall on it. The scene will be rendered with a transparent background, so that ought to be all right.
Any suggestions?

Create you object, then in the Scripts>Utilities folder double-click Create Advanced Iray Node Properties. You want the Iray matte, and once the script has created it you then want to turn it on the object's Parameters. Adjust the surface properties to match those of the thing it is acting as a proxy for.
Er, I'm using 3DLight (sorry, I should have said as muc). I need the old method of doing it. I'm pretty sure there *used* to be a way to do it. I'll admit that I don't think I've ever done it myself.
pwCatch, which is included with DS as I recall.
I can never remember how to do this, so I always refer back to this simple tutorial from Jay Versluis - How to create a 3Delight Shadow Catcher in DAZ Studio – JAY VERSLUIS
