Having used Creech in Poser and in Carrara a few times, I appreciate the work you're showing here and am enjoying the irreverent persona you've given him.
This isn't a carefully thought-out art critique but for what it's worth I find nothing glaringly wrong or jarring in the visuals - so they are well-done. That isn't meant to be faint praise - they take their place, to me, as a background while the dialogue is at the fore. The dialogue is straight to where my eyes go to with each frame/page.
(I don't speak as someone who has done such nice work). Hope there is more to come.
Following on quickly from my post above: I'm trying to say that the posing and all visuals are very well done with no flaws that I could point out while the dialogue gets the attention of a good story being told.
In other words, I'm liking and enjoying your work.
Thanks. It's been a lot of fun since way back. I helped devleop the Creech figure so in many ways he is a connection to a more carefree age.
My hat is off to you for helping develop Creech.
Here is one of the (poor) renders I made. It may be in Carrara or Poser - I'm not sure. In other work with him, I tried animating and found him to be a good figure to pose.
Thanks. I actually really appreciate your render because it shows off one of the most unique tail systems outt here in my opinion. Very cool image.

Hi Greybro,
I'm still loving this fun story. Lady Creech - full of character (and wrath). I love the shot where she hisses.
Thanks for your kind words regarding my Creech render. I think the female in the scene was given free by DAZ at one point and I simply was trying her out and Creech was my go-to character to be included. This isn't the thread to talk about my work but I notice in many fairy tale illustrations and in pulp fiction there is often an encounter where a character has some interaction with a more grotesque, scary creature but a dialogue is taking place rather than a battle. I like pictures where a small child would ask: 'Mummy, what are they talking about in this picture...?' or What's happening ? What is the little girl saying to the frog / witch / scarecrow...?
Just me, I suppose.
I'll now stop interrupting the thread!
It always gives me joy when anyone uses Creech. I do take your point about conflict happening along with conversations.

For having such idiomatic features Creech has a remarkably expressive face.
Thanks. He's an expressive goof ball!
