The last Windows version update was released September 2022. Last year, I asked the people at Plasq via email whether or not the Windows version was still in development. They said that Microsoft had discontinued a tool that they used to develop the program, and that they were looking for something to replace it. They didn't say what the tool was. The impression I had from what they said was that they were looking for a way to avoid having to rewrite the program from the ground up, and not having a lot of luck with that.
Thanks
I've commented on this image elsewhere, but wanted to point out that despite being a perfect example of a single-panel comic, it's also a brilliant call-back to a 1972 rock classic by America... two for the price of one!
I really like this! Great work!
Awesome image. Love the soft colors.
Version 3 is still quite useful for my needs
Here are some low res, unlettered comic panels showing the character consistency, one can achieve over at Mage.space.
I'm in the process of world building and establishing the storyline of my current graphic novel.
I already have 21 pages of completed art after 24 hours of production. ( Fri-Sat)
Great stuff, excellent examples. I always love to see your comic work.
The only real advantage I've noticed with version 4 is a little better handling of the word balloons; other than that, I think I prefer version 3.
WOW! Super solid!
Comic Life 4? I only see version 3 listed for Windows.
That's correct, my apologies, I should have been clearer.
I use Mac; I'm just saying that with the exception of better balloon handling, Windows users aren't missing that much with version 3.
enjoying this stuff....
meanwhile downunder....
Ha! Great comic, and as they say, "it's funny 'cause it's true". Still loving the pigeon.
Not really a one-pager artist, but this might qualify.
My buddy wrote a children's book about a peanut with the power to grant wishes, whereupon his eight-year-old predicted that she would wish for a unicorn that pooped candy. For her ninth birthday I printed this birthday card. Precious Unicorn from @LadyLittlefox was the perfect touch. It's now saved in a scrapbook somewhere. Mission accomplished. Click to enlarge.
I'm an old buzzard stuck in the past. I compose DAZ Studio renders in old Adobe After Effects, where I can fine tune everything, but lack a library of stock comic effects. Yet it suits me. Enjoying the other art I'm seeing here.

Hallelujah!
Disciple
It looks like a one-page comic to me, and a great one at that!
Thanks for sharing!
For anyone interested, here's a Google Drive link to a PDF of the first 24 pages fully lettered, of my current graphic novel.
Still needs some manual fixes to some panels
(slight color mistakes on the hero’s outfit)
Bear in mind, This was produced from start to finish over a 4 day period!!
This is the level of production SPEED possible with proper use of AI for comics and graphic novels.
I have much more story to add to this book before sending it off to the printers next month
The final book could be as many as 60 pages.
But I thought I would release these first 24 pages to familiarize people with the story and fictional universe.
I am a retired pensioner now, thus I no longer will be engaging in any commercial selling of “products” so my graphic novels are basically for my own consumption , and sharing FREE online, at this point.
Enjoy!!

I love that image @Disciple ... old buzzards rulez yay
thanks for sharing here
@wplf359 just awesome.... retired people do it best
Awesome, thanks for sharing! Great example of what can be done!
I honestly don't know how we got so much done *before* we retired...
Still having some fun with the crew of The Black Rose; The Professor started out as 3D Universe's Sal A. Manda, now tooned.
More Black Rose Adventures… or, "misadventures"?
I
what you did with Sal A Manda ...
talking about vanilla, my kids still pay me out ( 30 years later ) for putting vanilla essence in the scrambled eggs ( I was doing the cooking whilst mum was in hospital having number 5 child! )
I was forever banned from the kitchen ( a cunning plan )
Thanks! I had been using Creeper as "The Professor" but Sal A. Manda took over the role and so far he's doing a great job. I've been using him wearing Garreee's clothing add-ons as well, but the safari suit fit nicely here.
Vanilla in scrambled eggs? Hmm. I never tried that, cunning indeed!
Looks great. Looking forward to reading it!
Fantastic!
Thanks, much appreciated.
@westerdan
Ironicaly I am busier than ever since my retirement in January.
I think retired creatives can’t sit idle for very long

and create “work” even when there is no literal financial need for it .
I cobbled a “teaser trailer” for my new graphic novel ,in the style of an “Amazon prime” trailer
The animation is excellent! Nicely done.
"I think retired creatives can’t sit idle for very long..." – too true. The problem is never not having anything to do, it's choosing which fun thing do I want to do today.
One more misadventure...
Beautiful render and work...
Thanks very much, it's appreciated.
