Maybe wait until they update the site again and it deletes itself? I hope you're not depressed.
depressed. no, just want to get my entire gallery out of here. I will say, the less I come here the better off I will be.
Its the internet, nothing on the internet will ever be erased. It is always stored someplace.
I read how you lost tokens and stuff early, sadly DAZ tends to be out a day in my experience with coupons too, always best to use it before cancelling
still not right but think of all the money you will save
no need to stop using D|S, I don't spend as much as I used to but plenty of stuff to render and the occassional lightning deal to empty my purse in spite of being a base member
so you still get lightning deals even if your not a daz+ member? was wondering about that I keep forgetting who is who but your Aussie too? I''m still D+ only way can afford anything now and ecen then. But as you know they bought back annual membership happily unhappily drastic price increase from American $70 to $99+ they've taken down the price from everywhere but I got a slight discount of $5+ for some reason but didn't get the 15 month no one has yet just 12 months anyway the price for us or me Exchange rate
$158.07 AUD = $95.13 USD
1 AUD = $0.6018 USD
additional edit add on last year I started selling my art on products at redbubble you have to create business name ect and sold some items and when I reported it to my taxman he told me if I keep my reciepts of what I spend here I could probably claim some of it back especially if I spend more than I earn which is a given considering how much I spend here
Yes, it's availabe to anyone. Of course, if you don't have a membership, you don't get the 30/35% extra discount on DOs on LDs (who are all Daz Originals).
ANGELREAPER1972 are not too bad actually, sometimes 92% off, always at least 60%
obviously better if DAZ+ but definitely worth checking
To answer the original question:
To delete an image from the gallery: Go to 'My Gallery', select an image, and press the edit button. Then on the left you'll get a column of images with a little cross to the left of each. I think pressing that x deletes the image - not tried as I don't want to delete my images. Then repeat with every image in the gallery. Finally, to get rid of the gallery name, you'll have to change your forum user name to something different. That can be done by going to your account page, press 'edit ' to the right of your name & e-mail, then change the 'Username' field.
That would change everything you have asked about changing.
It would be a real shame if you left, and I'd encourage you not to, staying as a 'base' member until you feel as if you wish to contribute more again - if nothing else, being a base member gets a few bi-weekly freebies unavailable to Joe Public. However, if you are determined, we can't stop you.

Richard
I don't plan on testing it, but if you go to your gallery and hit the edit option in the top right corner, you have the option to delete gallery folders. I would suspect that deleting the galleries will at least make the pictures in them inaccessible to public browsing, but possibly entirely delete them.
Please don't go, daveso
daveso don't go away
Just a polite word of warning that if you delete in haste, you won't be able to get it back. It was my own choice to do so, but I pulled an image on Daz and RenderHub the other day, and I can tell you that the deletion system is very different on each of these sites. On here (as far as I can tell) it's gone as intended (which I prefer), but on RenderHub it's gone into some sort of deleted mode, so it appears that I could undelete if I wanted. I won't be doing that, but nevertheless, please be aware that if you delete it (on here), then it's gone for good unless you have a back-up.
As a side note, I don't know what happened in your case, but I've found Daz to be very accommodating when things go wrong with transactions etc. So just in case you haven't, I would contact them and explain rather than take the gallery down.
Hi, daveso.
I deleted my gallery last year, however, I think the images had to be deleted one at a time. I never created sub-galleries, so everything was in my default gallery. Don't know if you can just delete that to remove all the images contained in it.
I also deleted one of my forum threads where I offered some of my shaping presets. I've fairly recently created a new thread with one shaping preset. Haven't bothered to do more.
The gallery features (or lack thereof) caused me to stop uploading images often. I posted my renders on another platform with way more engagement than here.
Take care, daveso!
Lee
thanks. I did end up removing one at a time, but the skeleton of a gallery is still there.
Thanks. Would changing the forum name also delete all my forum posts, or just change the name to them? As far as leaving, its been getting closer and clser over a few years. When it becomes more frustrating to be here, it might be a sign for a change. There are just little things over and over that add up to a real bad taste in my mouth. I have cancelled DAZ+ and Premium in the past and it never has been ended the day before the end date on the contract. I will wait to see the response from the ticket submitted. No purchasing until that time. Actually not a bad thing for my wallet. It might be my signal to end the relationship here. I spend too much.
The forum posts would still be there, just under an unfamiliar name.

Richard
yo there,
stick around @daveso, take (up) a seat at the bar with your friends, and enjoy trading DS tidbits while not drinking here. you're hardly alone in your perspective and experience! lol
FWIW, i'm pretty sure that Daz gallery TOS says anything posted in their gallery becomes available for them to use for their marketing and promos without notice or compensation, so that was a non-starter for me. i wish i could lend some useful advice to clearing your presence there. i'm not sure if the forum image postings are 'auto-licensed' that way too - i don't think so, but it might be worth folks checking that if they care about such things.
cheers,
