Mesh Grabber- can't find it after install

Hi folks,

Any of you who use Mesh Grabber, after I run the installer, I can't find it anywhere after opening DS.  Anyone here know how to get it running?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Also, I bought the Rotations and Morph Loader add-ons and I can't find any information on where to download or how to install.

Do you mean the old version that was a paid product (as apposed to the new version that is part of the premier subscription and renamed to something else)? If so, go to Help -> "About Plugins" and scroll down to make sure that "Man Friday's Mesh Grabber" has the green plug next to it - if not there should be a text box where you have to paste in your key (will be listed in your account settings page). When you enter the serial I believe you have to restart Daz Studio. Then it should be available as an "Active Tool" in the "Tool Settings" tab (Alt-Shit-E).

Mesh Grabber has no serial number no matter it's 3.x or 4.x... but strongly suggest you install them via Install Manager rather than intallers. (ss1)

Mesh Grabber can be found under Tool menu and on the Toolbar. (ss2)

Rotation and Morph Loader functions can be found in Tool Settings when Mesh Grabber is activated. (ss3)

  • Hey folks,

Thank you for helping me.  I got it working finally.  I did have to use Install Manager to get it installed properly.  I normally use Smart Content or manual installs, but it worked.  Thanks a bunch.

Plug-ins, and anything else that installs "like software" (that is, to somewhere in the application folder) currently has to go through DIM (or use a stand-alone installer, but that is not recommended).
