Forcing search for missing content
Hello.
I've just installed the latest version of Daz 4.23 onto a computer running W10
My content library is arranged in a fashion that best suits me which is not necessarily the way that Daz would like it to be.
Quite often, when I went to upload content into a scene I have the "..... is missing". No problem, because there was a dialogue box that would pop up, I would copy/paste the missing file into the dialogue box, set it to search through my content library and in a blink of an eye it would find the missing file and load it in. I've worked like that for years.
With the latest version of Daz that I've installed, I still have the "..... is missing" but the dialogue box no longer appears and it simply loads the grey square block into the scene.
There's obviously a box somewhere that I've forgotten to tick but I can't for the life of me I can't think which one it is.
Can anyone help/advise, please?

Textures give you an option to search, I don't recall that geometry and other asset definitions ever have.
Hello.
Here's a screenshot that I've taken. In the past, when the "Missing File" dialogue box opens, there would appear afterwards a rectangle box (with long side horizontal) a box that would have a small amount of text (I forget what it said) and three buttons to select - "Locate" "Skip" or "Ignore all" or wordss to that effect.

As Richard said, the case you mentioned only happens when there're some "missing texture maps" that DS cannot load according to the path(s) of texture maps in user-facing files.
Besides, if you click "Stop Asking", DS will never show that "long rectangle dialogue" again in current DS session. You have to close and relaunch DS, it'll show you the dialogue again...
Thanks for the help. I see what you mean now.
