Any 3DCommune people here?

Pinhead has passed away and his son is trying to locate his gallery and artwork. If you or someone you know, knew him and you have any tutorials or know where his artwork might be posted. It would be greaty appreciated.

Condolences to his family.
Condolences to his family, Sadly, I do not remember Pinheads work.
I'm going to try a few other places.
Condolences.
My condolences to Paul's family.
Yesterday, Paul's son informed me accordingly.
I knew Paul/Pinhead already before 3DCommune, from R'osity (around 1997). Paul was one of the most helpful people I ever met online and he was always a great source of inspiration and fun.
PS, FYI: The expression "Hubisms" (as name for my 'unusual' abstract Bryce images) then was created by Paul! Not to forget that Paul played a big part in starting the "Woody Mania" on 3DC.
I'll miss that old chap! Farewell, Paul!
hubert, I did not know that he started the Woody Mania. That was fun.
Bea said that she recently tried to contact Pinhead but he wasn't responding to her. They used to talk via Skype. She was very upset at his passing.
Hi NGartplay,
Paul himself didn't start the Woody Mania at 3DC. Yet he possibly convinced the site owner Mark to dedicate Woody a separate gallery section. A pity that all that content is lost now.
Btw:
When I searched my old harddisks for Pinhead related stuff, I found a saved R'osity thread named "The Spotlight" from April 2001, where Paul got interviewed! -- That old forum content is is gone since long (lost during countless R'osity server/database migrations and various site makeovers). Luckily, I had saved that web page then, along with comments from many 3DC members (some of them already deceased).
If anyone of you would like to read it:
Just send me a site message, where to e-mail it. The corresponding ZIP is only 100kB in size. -- (I don't want to post or link original R'osity owned content here. Even if not being available online any more).
Sent a DM. Thanks :)
Hi Nancie,
file sent.
Enjoy it and feel free to share it with other members, who knew Paul aka 'Pinhead'.
Thank hubert...kiss
Condolences.
I looked up on https://web.archive.org and found the following link. Not sure, if that is what you are looking for...
http://pappathan.net/_tut/Pinheads3DCTutorials.htm
Hope it helps a bit.
Aw Elvis, thanks for doing that. I get a server not found message. Too sad.
Apologies I made a mistake. Try this link https://web.archive.org/web/20060615000123/http://pappathan.net/_tut/Pinheads3DCTutorials.htm
OR this one http://pinhead.robbes.com/
OR
You start with the main page of web.archive.org https://web.archive.org
And then you enter in the search field "Pinhead 3D". The first link should you lead to Pinhead's archived pages, which often are I'm afraid not complete.
Thanks Electro-Elvis, very nice site, never knew Pinhead, surprisingly most links work.
Thank you Electro-Elvis. Like mermaid, I never knew Pinhead I started with Bryce 5 in May 2004 and never "met" Pinhead. It seems that I missed a lot.
Thank you Elvis, I got the archive to come up but most that I click on get an error message that they were not archived. Too bad. I think that this is what his son was asking us for...the missing images. The tutorials work. I'm going to try making the stratus clouds.
Thanks Electro-Elvis for pointing us to the Archive site.
I tried following the tutorial bij Pinhead on using 'reflection maps' (http://pinhead.robbes.com/tutorial/bryce_reflectmaps/bryce_reflectmaps.htm) to get a sky reflected on a terrain. Here is my result.
The sky is a part of a photo I made and used as 2D plane in the background, while the Bryce sky is a black backdrop. The terrain is one I made in World Machine Basic. The texture of the terrain in the first column (A) (on Diffusion and Bump Height) is mediterranean hills, while the fourth column (D) has the sky texture as reflection map in Diffuse, Ambient, Specularity and Reflection.
Hansmar - this looks very nice.
I agree beautiful result Hansmar very nicely done.
Hansmar, that is fabulous!
Thank you, Horo, Mermaid010, NGartplay.
Hansmar - Lovely render !
Heartfelt condolences. I had a few correspondences with Paul then at CG Commune and Rendo. He really was a generous fellow.
Farewell, Paul!
Thanks, Bunyip02.
