Hello!

I have the product and love what the blurb says it can do, but HOW do I do it? 

What does TS and RR mean? What are the different Versions for and how do I use them? How do I use the density maps? Can I use them to hide some hairs from generating? And if so, how?

If anyone knows how, please! Tell me!

    There're two Hair Generation Modes in SBHs (Strand-Based Hairs) before simulation (Pre-Sim) : Target Surface (TS) and Root Radius (RR)

    TS: This mode needs Black and White texture maps to generation Pre-Sim hair curves, density, length, scraggleness, frizz, etc. So users can modify the texture maps to influent the hair shapes. The weakness is that the original hair shape can not be 100% well preserved. (ss1)

    RR: This mode doesn't need any texture maps at all. It relies on PS parameters to generate Pre-Sim hairs. This mode is much simpler and easy to maintain the hair shape. (ss2)

    I think the vendor just gave two types of SBHs for the users to choose and play with... (though I personally think that is not really necesary... probably the vendor took for granted that all the users well understand how SBHs work and know how to customize them in depth....)  

    Edit: Anyway, it's up to you to use which one of them. In general, if you don't want to customize any map / shape, go for using RR.
