Export to Blender - Problem with strand-based hair

I'm desperately looking for a solution as to how I can fix this extremely ANNOYING issue with exporting strand-based hair with my models.

Here's the rundown: there's a specific hair asset that I'm trying to use made for Gen 9. My model is gen 8.1, but I have no trouble being able to auto-fit the hair onto my character. I set the tessellation to 2, save, and then export to Blender (diffeomorphic). But when my model loads into Blender, everything looks off. The hair has no texture (white) and there's random streaks of white all over my character's texture.

The white hair isn't a problem, as I can easily fix that in Blender. What is the problem, is those white streaks all over the character. This issue seems to be unique to strand-based hair assets and I have no idea how to solve this.

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

You didn't name the hair product so we have no way to check and test...

But have you referred to the latest post relevant to SBH with the latest Diffeo version : https://diffeomorphic.blogspot.com/2025/01/strand-based-hair-and-hair-guides.html

Because it's not a product-specific issue. It happens with ALL SB types of hair.

I'm pretty much a noobie and basically illiterate when it comes to any posts/guides made by Diffeomorphic. I don't even where to find the tabs it's showing in the screenshots.

I know it's been a while since I made this post, but to add some extra information, I noticed that the model is getting imported with multiple meshes. One of them is all-white, textureless (which is what those streaks were). I played around a bit and noticed that deleting some of the extra meshes does fix the issue---however at the cost of all the face controls and rigs being broken (straight up getting locked and unposable).
