DS 4.23 "forgets" that my Premier Plugins are registered
This has happened several times in the past few days. I'm subscribed to Premier. I start up DS and start working with it, and then go to do something that requires a Premier plugin. The panes aren't there. I go to Help | About Installed Plugins... and see that the plugins are in fact disabled. I am logged in. If I go to Help | Register DAZ Studio... the serial number field is blank. The advice says that if I "Simply login to your DAZ 3D account and DAZ Studio will retrieve your serial number for you." but I am logged in, and it's not there. If I log out and log in again, sometimes (about half of the time) I get an alert that says that I need to relaunch DS for the plugins to take effect. Sometimes it says nothing. Sometimes relaunching the app doesn't change anything and the plugins are still disabled.
All told, it sometimes takes me three or four launches of DS to get it to display the plugins. Is anyone else seeing this behavior?

1stly, Premier plugins have no serial numbers.
2ndly, yes, I ever experienced the similar issue, especially Premier logo was gone in both Splash screen and application title... however, the plugins were all there ~~ DS gave me this issue from time to time.
A trick you may try, since you subscribed Premier, always keep Logged in status ! If you have to log out, then after re-login, keep DS opened for 3 ~ 5 minutes, then relaunch it, you should be able to see the plugins back.
If issue persists, better name which plugin you couldn't find...
I never said that I thought that Premier plugins had serial numbers. All I said was that they don't appear, and when I look them up in the plugins list, they're all disabled (gray status "plug"). It's not consistent when they appear and when they don't. It's not individual plugins--it's all or nothing. I don't know how much clearer I can be than that.
In my case, the Premier logo always shows up, even when its plugins do not. I am constantly logged in. The only time I'm logged out is when I do so manually trying to get the plugins to load again.
At the moment, it's just a nuisance. A relatively constant nuisance. A nuisance that I'm paying roughly $20 a month to experience. For plugins that I had, for the most part, in previous versions of DS when I paid for them as separate products, but which I can't use any more because the Premier versions take precendence.
Ah, sorry ~ I misunderstood.
Does your log file show anything, in the current session or at the end of the previous session if you remember the plug-ins working then?
The Premier plug-ins do not disable their predecessors.
Yes. And I have tried everything to fix the problem. It gets very frustrating when you are working on a scene, and you go to use the geometry sculptor, and it's gone. Or if you want to use the d-force manager(the two reasons I upgraded to premier in the first place), and it is nowhere to be found. I even tried docking them to different tabs, but they disappeared from there, as well. I shouldn't say disappear because you can go into installed plugins and find them, they will just be non-activated. So I just shut down Daz and re-start until they are activated again. Two or three times usually does it. Nice right? Why two or three times? I have no idea. What happens on the third time you open Daz Studio that doesn't happen the first time you open Daz Studio? I don't have a clue.
Have you tried logging out and back in again when this happens? My suspicion is that the authentication only happens when you log in but the timer that shuts the premier content down doesn't care whether you're logged in or not - just on how long ago you authenticated by logging in. (not premier, so I can't test this)
This was true, but see https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/8999416/#Comment_8999416
I'm having the same issue. My account is always online, and Daz Studio seems to recognize that I have premier, as it says Premier on the splash screen and up at the top of the screen. I had the tools exactly once since I have had a premier account (I have only had it for a few days). I don't see geometry sculptor under tools or the tools settings pane. There is no "manage" on the simulation settings pane, no queue tab on the render settings pane, etc.
I have restarted the program a few times today and I've logged out and back in, and it's still not showing up.
There was an issue, fixed in a recent beta, that meant if authorisation expired while DS was connected then it wouldn't revalidate until the next start or log-in - but if you restarted the application that should have revalidated, but a second restart would be needed for the plug-ins to be available. However, two restarts, the first logged in, should have revalidated and enabled everything.
Yeah, it still isn't working. I have fully logged out and closed the program, left it for five minutes, reloaded the program (which logs me back in) and then closed and restarted it again. Multiple times. Still no Premier tools.
I'm also one of those people who was hit with my remaining membership time not showing correctly since the annual memberships have been re-added. I've put in a ticket for that, but maybe it's related? I claimed my free month of Premier, it said my renewal date would be 4/28, and now it says it's 3/28 again. Maybe, even though I still have the coupons and the program still says Premier, something isn't quite right, and some parts of the system aren't crediting that month? Just a theory.
You do have DS Pro, though - with the serial number, showing the content creation tools (e.g. Tools>Geometry Editor, Joint Editor, etc.)?
Yes. I do. And I had used the shape transfer tool once (well, twice. It errored on one model. But it was the same session), before this weekend. I don't know when the tools stopped showing up exactly because I hadn't had need for them in the few days in between.
Still not there on a new load today.
