SOLVED! Content Directory Manager, rename and save a New Content Set

rosselianirosseliani Posts: 506

In order to test the packaging of a new product, I try to create and save a New Content Set (image 1) renamed Test Content Set (image 2). Rename does not work, and if I hit the Accept button, my Current Directories is replaced by a copy of my New Content Set (the one I could not rename, image 3).
Is it possible to save several different Content Sets to avoid having to recreate my Current directories each time I want to test a product?

Yes, that's what Content Sets are meant to be...  You can create multiple content sets and set one as the default, e.g. with all of your Daz Libraries. Set others with different Libraries ticked, for different purpose. Then switch to the Content Set as "Current Directories" each time you want to use that Set ~~

Select the the one you want to copy, using the radio button, and click the no-longer disabled button on the left to copy, rename, or remove. "Current" isn't s aved set, so you need to select that and copy it before making an changes or making another set active. It all seems to work for me.

    Thank you for helping!

Ok, I was able to create 2 New Content Sets, but it's still impossible to rename them, is that too tricky? I type the new name, but it goes back to the default "NewContent Set (2)" as soon as I click elsewhere.

Solved! I had to hit "Enter" after renaming, wich is usually unnecessary in Daz Studio.

I actually thought "Current Directories was a saved set. And I had to hit "Enter" after renaming.
