Redownloading everything after switching PCs?

I've always had my DAZ content on an external storage device. And I've recently upgraded PCs. I set everything up to my new PC for my content, yet it isn't registering it. Do I have to redownload everything?
Thanks in advance.

Are the files appearing in the Content Library pane, under Daz Studio Formats or Poser Formats (as appropriate)?
The ones I've redownloaded are, yes.
My CMS Cluster is set to by default file in the C:\ drive. However, the DAZ Connect Data, DAZ Studio Format, and Poser Format are all set to the D:\ external hard drive.
Should my CMS Cluster also be set to the D:\ eternal hard drive?
Did you copy the old database across (with DS and DIM closed)? if so, point to the folder that holds the ContentCluster folder; otherwise it doesn't matter, but you will need to reimport metadata to use the database driven views. To reimport metadata, open the Content Library option menu (the lined/hmaburger button in the top corner)>ContentDB Maintenance, select Reimport Metadata, click Accept, then seelct all in the next dialogue.
As long as they are on the same computer and DS knows where to look for it, they can be on different drive: on my Mac, the CMS database is stored on its internal SSD while everything else is stored on an external SSD.
