How do I add items to the favorites in task menu?

edit: I figured out how to make the new workspace.  How do I create a preset for the workspace and put it somewhere on the task bar?  Or add any content like base Genesis 9 to that area?

How do I save a couple workspace presets with unique names?

I want to be able to easily move from one preset to another.  Sometimes my only focus is on DS when I am on my computer.  Other times I want to do other stuff so I need one of the monitors free for that task.  I want to easily switch from 3 monitor use to 2 monitor use to 1 monitor use of DS.  With any order for those 3 options.

Assuming this is a genuine question (you do sometimes like to ask questions to which you know the answer, which is OK in the play threads but not in a stand-alone thread where people may take it seriously) then use Window>Workspace>Save Layout to save and Window>Workspace>Select Layout to load.

In what sense? Selecting the favourite item from the menu (or from a toolbar, if you move it there) performs whatever the default action for the actual target is - equivalent to double-clicking on a file or opening a container.

Right-click on a file or folder and select Create Custom Action.
