"Missing files" when putting wardrobe on figure

I purchased a set of clothing for a Genesis 8 figure and installed it via DAZ Install Manager. When trying to put the wardrobe on a figure I get a side box that lists a bunch of "missing files" listing the filies and the directories where they should be. The Install Manager doesn't list those files as being installed. It looks like they're supposed to be installed in the folder for "Public" user. Does Studio know to look there? But the files are not in the Public folder (subfolders) anyways.

This has happened with a few purchases, other purchases seem to go fine.

  • Could be a couple of things, but it would be easier if we knew what specific product you're talking about, and possible post a copy of the log file.

In my experience, it's usually a path problem in the file. Sometimes the path is higher than it shoutd be, such as including the 'parent' folder, when it should start at the user facing folder. Such as, it starts with Public, as opposed to My daz3d Library.

I've also run into typos, such as a double forward slash, instead of the requisite single, or having a space in the folder name, but not the %20%(ascii for space) in the file's path.

You'll need to specify the actual product you are talking about. Perhaps it's a texture pack and you do not have the required base product installed?
