Before I purchase the alembic exporter, I need to know if it will still work with older versions of Daz Studio? Product page says "Compatible Software: DAZ Studio 4.9", but it also says "Alembic Exporter for DAZ Studio 4.5+" under "What's Included and Features". Thanks in advance if anybody knows!

Thanks for the link, Wayne. Love your Marsh Moster - keep meaning to pick him up! I went ahead and bought the plugin, and am still trying to get the plugin to load in Studio.
The installer for the Alembic Exporter that I was able to DL from my product library after purchasing the plugin yesterday is "DS4_Alembic_1.3.0.63_Win64.exe".
After running the installer, when I hover over the plugin under "About Installed Plugins", I get the red plug icon. The version reported for the plugin is "0.0.0.0", and the reason given was that the plugin was made for a newer version of DAZ Studio.
I am running an older version of Studio, but the product page says 4.5+ so it should be OK. I had installed a beta version of Studio a while back (4.9.0.21), so I went into DIM to download and install the plugin under that Studio beta. I get the same red plug icon for the Alembic Exporter, same version 0.0.0.0 reported, and the same reason given.
What version of Studio do I need to be running to get the plugin I just bought to work? I'd really rather not change anything with my Studio installation because it is all working now. I've gone through this with the LAMH plugin when 4.8 broke the instancing so I had trouble going back to a previous version of Studio.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance!
