so there is no limit on paid items, the only rule is at least 3 freebies?

Where are the other 2 freebies you used and the links to them?

    do you want them?

To the best of my knowledge it's one of the rules, however yes I do want to know what freebies you used, in case I want any of them.

No problem, Kindred explained how this one is working different. Upside, your image is getting reposted lots with this exchange lol

Denizens, it is at this point in the month where productivity begins to suffer. But I must remind you, this is not just a competition – this is dangerous, low-paid, non-unionized slave labour. Please return to your posts, and continue posting renders to satisfy me.

Also, it was my birthday yesterday. So anyone who wishes me a happy birthday, will be given unfair competitive advantage. I'm sorry, I don't make the rules.

    (I do make the rules)

Belated happiest Birthday to you :) Not really thinking about competitive advantage but just being happy for you :) :) :) Is your age a top secret and classified?

Happy Belated Birthday!!! I say that with nothing but complete, unassuming well wishes, and not at all in any way trying to gain an unfair competitive advantage XD

Seriously, though, I hope you had a great one! ^_^

    Happy birthday!laugh

Thank you for the well wishes everyone, i hope you all had a lovely valentines weekend. Just so you all know, i'm 36, which means my tyranical rule could last another 50 years. I got a nutribullet for my birthday too, so i might even make 90.

Happy belated birthday! You are very young, I sincerely wish you, without pretensions of advantages, many years of absolute reign!;)

Does that mean you now bite the bullet?

(Sorry, I am sure every user of that hears that "joke" several times per day)

Yes Happy Birthday, I neglected to add that to my post when you told us. lol Hope you had a grand day.

A birthday on Valentine's Day! Sweet. Happy belated birthday! Hope you had a lovely time. Enjoy that nutribullet. I love mine and use it nearly everyday. So here's a toast with my fruit and nut kefir shake to your next 50+ years. laugh

Loving the next render too in this series. heart The dog and it's person are such a great addition.
In every render, the intensity and desperation of that big heart of feelings is really palpable. A perfect balance that keeps things just above the uncomfortable creepiness of it all. Will there be more renders in this series???

Finally someone recognises my treasured creations blush. I thought it might be a van gogh scenario, and my great works wouldn't be recognized until i perish. With my new nutribullet, and my thigh-master workout DVD, that could be some considerable time.

I will finish my little story arc, but it's a mere sideshow in comparison to all your lovely renders. Speaking of which, back to work everybody, breaks over.

A mere eight days remain denizens. Eight days. The competition is fierce, and one lucky winner will walk away with $15. What could *you* do with $15? Buy 15 boxes of ramen? Trade it for prison favours? The freebie competition doesn't ask questions, it only provides questionable answers.

    Work denizens. Riches await.

Omg! Hahaha. It took me a second to figure out where our sympathetic stalker went to. His desperation has reached some new heights...

barbult Thank you for your comment on my render! 2 days to go for this challenge - any possibility of a Hallowed Valentine render starring Richard??? laugh

It's great catching up on the entries. Everything from fun to super frightening... But no one can match the sheer dedication seen from emanuela1! How you managed to pull together that impressive list of freebies in a render to fit the challenge theme is mind boggling! I bow before your commitment. smiley

Hi SapphireBlue, nice renderings for a beautiful and cultured fairy tale, I like it a lot. :)

Thank you so much emanuela1heart I'm very glad you like it. smiley (I'm posting this in this thread, so I don't crowd out any last minute entries in the other thread today.) Well, I'm already very curious about next month's challenge theme! Hope it's as inspiring (and hope the rules are equally easy-going... cheeky).

Fae3D "Pulling Her Strings" is a really neat entry! Nice work! And you're right, there can be quite a few ways to spin a story for it and that makes it fun to interpret.
I'm gonna have to download that puppet wooden cross. I had a few puppet renders that'd be a great addition to. Thanks for sharing!

Striking while the iron is hot, I thought I'd work on some more renders with my Devil story idea, but had too many snags with this one as it kept falling back to CPU initially. Anyway, just thought I'd share it here.

The Devil takes a bride (render 4)

Thank you so much!  This one just gained a life of its own, and now it has a thousand stories, lol!  I like the puppet wooden cross, I hid the strings and added my own so that they looked like they were pulled taut.  Good luck with your puppet renders, I'll be curious to see them!

    WINNERS!

Alright you hopeless romantics, it's time to announce the winners of the february 2025 freebie contest. I have assembled my team of judges, hand counted their paper ballots, and the winners are as follows...

    1st Place: SaphireBlue - Forever

2nd Place: Payat Parin - The Suitress

    3rd Place: Fae3D - Pulling Her Strings

Excellent submissions this month everyone, thank you all for taking part. There were so many lovely submissions that it was hard to pick just a handful. Linwelly is taking care of the March competition, as you will have already seen, and i will catch up to you guys in April.

TO THE WINNERS: Please shoot me a DM with your email address and your place in the competition. I have the physique of a husky mule, but the attention span of a goldfish, so giving me all the relavent information in one place really helps me get the GCs out.
