Why does "add to cart" button NOT work sometimes???

trying to add to cart the Wash Down product......nothing is happening at all.

This has happened a couple of times to me, adding to cart button simply doesn't seem to work.

Anyone know why?

it eventually worked - after pressing it 8 times and then leaving the site for half hour and then coming back.

I've had strange problems lately at DAZ with promo pics not showing when clicking on them as well as partially blank store pages when scrolling sometimes. I've been suspecting it's an IE11 or plugin problem since it seems to happen when I have many tabs open (20+), and closing all browser windows/tabs seems to fix it. Haven't seen this problem before, have sometimes had up to 50 tabs open without any problems.

I've never noticed this problem before. I sometimes leave a cart tab open which will only show 1 item in my cart unless I refresh the tab. Perhaps I don't buy enough to have noticed the problem. Just tried it and worked fine.

  • The buttons on the page aren't conventional HTML links. They call a javascript function which should run in the background and then pop up the secondary inner screen (dialog) which might show required products or addons or whatever. If javascript gets broken, either due to a programming error or because your browser is in a wonky state, the button won't work. There have been a couple of times when I couldn't add something to my cart until I downloaded and installed firefox (I use chrome). I'm guessing these were programming errors that did get caught. I think I even submitted a ticket the first time. Lately, though, it seems to happen regularly, but if you actually give it a minute or two, the secondary dialog will eventually appear. Presumably DAZ' web servers are being pushed to the limits due to a big release or something at these times and it just takes a noticably long time to get the information to display that dialog. Or, maybe it's on my end? I'm on comcast, after all. Netflix has gotten really horrible lately, and I'm pretty sure the problem has nothing to do with the setup on NetFlix' end.
