What's wrong? It's a clever way to avoid the shrink wrap problem.
I don't know exactly what to do with her because I ususally make no toon pics, but she looks so cute; I just had to purchase her.
The classical 'Girl' figure; very nice.
@ jcade: Thank you for this excellent morph freebie!
LOL Thank you Kerya, needed a laugh today.
Love, Jeanne
Heh, given the set doesn't look like armor, I'm guessing she chose mobility over weight. I can work with that. It's the sets where clearly the person is supposed to be armored but they're exposing vital organs or they have a 'stab/shoot me here' cleavage window in their armor that bother me. I get the fantasy style behind that, but it looks so wrong as armor. I find chainmail bikinis less cringe-worthy.
(Then again, I play Exalted, where the right tattoo can be better armor than normal full plate. Because once you've gone with the less is more school of armor, you might as well go nuts with it.)
edit: Random thought occured to me. The underboob holes in the Guardian outfit could be ventilation to minimize underboob sweat. Swinging those heavy maces around has gotta be quite a workout. :)
Genesis 3 Female with Girl 7 shape and skin from http://www.daz3d.com/v4-elitetexture-natasha
applied to her using Legacy UVs for Genesis 3: V4 (from Renderosity).
Greetings,
And by 'maces', you mean...
...nevermind. ;)
Actually, I presumed the 'Guardian' outfit was a magical girl outfit, which has little/no need for 'armor', since it's about the magic.

And now more colorful - Genesis 3 Female with Girl 7 shape and skin from MDD Fire & Water for V4.2 by Maddelirium
If she teams up with a male fighter (why do they always get the really useful armor?) he can defeat them while they are rolling around on the ground laughing.
I'm curious -- why no Fred Winkler character for The Girl 7? There's usually a FWA or FWSA morph/texture for new bases.
Who in the world would do that??, who!!, and why?
ok we have male figures with no cilinder included, ok approved...
Can you tell me what skin you are using in the image? I like the eyebrows and lips as well as the skin color. Looks really nice.
This is Ruby for Girl 7 :-)
Because Fred doesn't favor toon style.
Having more fun with her now that I have the pro bundle.
You just got Daz a sale here. The Girl's default face is very much not my style, but this... I think I can work with this.
Incidentally, what hair is that?
Its http://www.daz3d.com/boris-hair-for-genesis-2-male-s. Somehow its my default hair so that I dont do as many bald test renders
Ok thanks. Not sure how to see this without buying but does the skin have a texture update for 4.9 or is the render with an older DS version?
The skin is unfortunately quite modified, I transferred the textures over from gen2 to gen3 in blender, and set up all the materials myself
Well, the girl7 is a toon, so, why does not include some face expressions?
The style is not for everyone, although The Girl is cute. It would've been interesting to see what FW could do with her. He's so outrageously talented.
Thanks for the response.
I've always rather liked the girl; especially to mix in with other morphs; this is the Girl 7 and Josie 7 mixed up.
Here's a quick render of three genertions of The Girl - the original figure, Girl 4 and Girl 7. Thought it would be fun to compare them. I can definitely see the family resemblance :D
If anyone has the Eternal Outfit (http://www.daz3d.com/eternal-outfit-for-genesis-3-female-s), could you answer a couple of quick questions for me?
* Can all of the cloth and the chain be hidden to give a simple two-piece metal bikini look? I can't tell from the promo images if the bottom is actually visible under the cloth on the left side.
* If the cloth is hidden, what does the rear view of the bottom look like?
Thanks in advance!
and here's the back with the outer cloth and chains hidden.
Thanks Zilver and J Cade, that's very helpful. I wasn't sure if there was any actual bikini cloth under the flowing outer cloth. Looks like a good set that someone like me who's into fantasy skimpwear could get some use out of. ;)
Hello,
I'm new to Daz Studio. I would like to know if I purchase the girl 7, do you have ability to apply morphs to change the look of the face? are there special morphs required for the girl, or can you use morphs for any genisis 3 packages?
Any suggested morph packages work better than others? How about clothing and hair? Is it safe to assume you must get assets specifially for the girl or any generic genisis 3 content will work.
thanks for you time,
adam
Any G3F morphs should work with The Girl 7
What's this tied-in-front shirt-and-short-shorts outfit that Ruby's wearing in the main promo picture?
http://www.daz3d.com/ruby-for-the-girl-7
It doesn't look like the Esther outfit, because the shorts are obviously not the same, and the shirt has a different sleeve cuff, and lacks the retro collar and lapels.
