Are there any moving parts, such as the jeeps wheels or the prop on the plane? Can the front be hidden to "fake" hangar doors?

For anyone curious, I picked it up and only the jeep has some rigging (steering wheel and tires all rotate and the front tires turn). The rest are static objects, including the entire warehouse (so e.g. no ability to hide sides of the buildings).
I know it is not great when options are missing, but you can use the Geometry editor to set up new groups and/or surfaces in the warehouse prop in order to hide the sides of buildings. Also remember, if rendering in iRay you can use an iRay Section Plane Node to allow the camera to see though walls. Since this was added, hiding walls is no longer so important (at least not in iRay)
Thanks Havos!! Never used either before. Playing around with the geomerty editor. Painful (especailly removing faces), but it may be good enough.
...I wonder if the wings can be attached to the aeroplane. That alone would be a cool model.
Looks doable. There are still seams, but you might be able to tweak the positioning better (I only spent 15 minutes on positining them). Put differntly, it does look like they were cut from a complete model. Still not sure about the value on this set -- for the same price I can pick of one of DreamLands' movie sets, including some of the new ones like the warehouse series. Also, there are no light sets included (but not too hard to add some in). Borderline at the price, though I will probably keep it since I need some 1950's era type stuff and I like the curved warehosue shape.
Note that the render has post work because it looked good enough to deserve some, but that was mainly brightness/contrast and some vignette (and a bakground). Note also that I did *not* use the render settings that came with it (later on I tried it iand it highlights that light is coming in from the the roof, so worth trying it out if you have this). You can also see where I carved out the front (e.g. the hollow pillar), though it doesn't stand out too much.
For anyone curious, the figure is Jade for Teen Jose 7 with Holywood Hair (from RMP) and the Elegant outfit (also from RMP). Pose is one of the classier ones from Pin-up Backgrounsd, Poses, and Expressions here at DAZ.
Wish the PA had spent a bit more time on this set -- hangar doors and a rigged plane would definitly up the value considerably.
...still the fact the plane is a model of an actual historic aircraft (and quite faithful to the original as I researched photos of it) is a bonus by itself. This is probably the most "accurate" RL aircraft I have seen here in the store.
I also like the style of the architecture as it reminds me of older warehouses back in Milwaukee WI when I was growing up.
A little bit of kitbashing, and yes, it could make for a decent 1930s era hangar. Would also make a nice trolley or bus barn.
Yeah, I plan on keeping it. Good call on attaching the wings (and to Havos for the geometry editor tip).
