I was working on an Iray render and it got to about 65% and didn't go further suddenly I'm seeing a bunch of updating info scroll up in the rendering window. In the lower left corner I see updating metadata and then during that Studio goes unresponsive and I have to shut down the program as it wasn't rendering anymore. 

Is this the result of working online and some files in my runtime just got updated and Studio went into a flurry to update them no matter what it was I was doing at the time? I can only imagine what my response would be if I was rendering an image that was taking *hours* and this happened in the middle of it. 

Will work offline stop this behavior?

    Going off-line during a render will stop this. However, I have had this (metadata updates during a render) happen several times and it has never caused any issues. The render always continued during the update and completed. Maybe it is dependent on the capabilities of your sytstem? Was it CPU or GPU render? I was using two of my 3 GPU at that time.

    It is weird that it is happening in the middle of a render. I can open Studio and I can see it checking and if there is something it will update. But last night was the first time I saw it updating in the middle of the render. Most of the updates failed and then I guess it would retry the failed ones? I have cpu and vid card selected. OptiX not selected
