Does anyone know of a good 3Delight Hair Shader product? I can't seem to find one in the store.

There's DraagonStorm's Instant Infinite Variety for Hair to add highlights http://www.daz3d.com/instant-infinite-variety-for-hair .
Sassanik also has some free hair shaders on ShareCG. Search "mostly universal hair shader." Here's a link to the Bright Colors pack: http://www.sharecg.com/v/75399/browse/21/DAZ-Studio/Mostly-Universal-Hair-Shader-Bright-Colors
That's all I know of...

I've got this one. http://www.daz3d.com/toon-style-hair-shaders
I know it says "toon" on it, but there are also 10 natural colors, made from photgraphic resource pictures of natural hair.
I'm defiantely sure I have seen others, but I'm not locating them at them moment.
You know, I was curious how well UHT (for Iray) would work in 3DL... and the answer seems to be 'pretty darn well.' Render incoming when it's ready.
(I just converted to omUberSurface, reset the opacity which doesn't convert properly, and... that's it)
There's also Mec4D's Unshaven 2 shaders, though I'm not 100% sure how well they work with transmap-heavy hair in 3dl.
Mec4D ended up too uniform... which is to be expected. UHT turned out pretty well!
On transmap hair probably slower than a snail, stuck in molasses...if they really do much at all. But for ANY fiber/obj hair they are fantastic.
What exaclty would a "hair shader" do? (Just give more color options to a hair as opposed to it's expansion textures or something more?)
Well, the UHT thing adds some better bump/displacement, and a number of extra general-use options. It's a little higher quality than a lot of default stuff is, and you can play with it to make it even better.
Also, it has a 'varied hair darkness' diffuse map that can help avoid the 'baked in highlights' a lot of hair has (that I dislike).
Depends on how the shader was set up, but mostly you can think of it as a hair texture set that can be used on any hair, and not just one.
Love this one - I use it soooooo much.
Nice thing about hair is that most of the hair out there can work with a shader pack. I think there's a couple old sets that have odd mapping that makes for problems (like they had curls mapped to use a curled texture so a straight line shader looks wrong or that they had a 90 degree turn to them) but when you can generally use shaders on 99% of a model type and just need the specific transparency for each one, it's a real help. Scalp parts can be a different story, but most are covered by the hair to the point where as long as the color matches, you're good.
What is this mysterious UHT??

Thanks! I have an update in the works. I've already saved out the Iray presets for it, but I think I need to do some small tweaking of the 3Delight presets too. No clue on when I'll be able to get the update in though.

DG -- Well, that explains why I couldn't find it. I was trying to figure out what UHT meant and then searching under those possible terms. :p
