  • That is th database used by the Content Management System, deleting it would be a bad idea. You can chnage its location, if you have more space on another drive, via Edit>Prefrences>CMS Settings for example, though you will then have to copy the Content Cluster folder from the old location to the new (with all applications that might use the database closed).

  • Ok, thanks, amma leave it where it is.

60 GB sounds not normal to me... how many product have you installed ? I've had 27K products installed and the size of cms cluster folder is 7GB.

You better check and Condense Databese with Content DB Maintenance tool ~~

I'm probably too late to this party but in case someone else has this problem, this is what I found on a PC I was working on recently.

    In the folder  -  AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\cms\ContentClusterthere is a folder "\pg_stat" there is also a folder  "\pg_stat_tmp"

This folder was over 50 gigs with thousands of files and folders.

But what they seemed to be was that this folder had copied itself to a sub folder of the same name, then another sub folder, and another, and so on for a few thousand times. (can't remember how many)

Each folder was of the same size and date 08/12/2022

Because these multiple clones added up to way above the windows recognised folder/filename lengths it was not possible to delete them with standard windows commands.

I did find a third party utility to delete all the files, but could not delete the now empty folders, but at least all the disk space was available.

I don't know what caused this, I count out a virus as it would not attack one specific folder.

However, deleting all the files from the \pg_stat_tmp folder did not seem to cause any problems with Daz or the Content Manager.

    Hope this helps someone.
