hi, does anyone know if the lower wall wood paneling and door panel,
are those inlays modelled in the mesh or shader/bump maps?

    Give me a few to download and install and I can tell you.  Knowing Ness (a very detail oriented man) it is modeled in.  I will verify in a few.  :)

    a plain grey texture would be more helpful, i'd be using this in carrara

    This should go into Carrara just fine. Ness was always really good at clean modeling etc.  The details are modeled in.  He used Poser, so nothing DS specific in the model.  :)
