Can not get Kids 4 to install on WinXp Daz Pro 4.5

Okay I will go through all the steps I took.

I have installed Daz studio 4.5 Pro on XP.

I downloaded all the kids stuff from Kids 4.
The Kids4 base downloads as 9404_1_TheKids4,exe - I installed that and the update as requested.
Target Application: Daz Studio
Select path from list: c:\documents and settings\terry\my documents\daz 3d\studio\My Library

Same for all the other kids bits

Nothing appears in daz studio application when I restart it.
Why?

Same on 2 machines now and still no feedback from support after 4 days.
Are they always this ignorant?

You don't say what tab you are looking in? They may not appear in Smart Content since they are a lot older than Genesis.

K4, and all figures prior to Genesis, were in Poser Format, and in the Content Library tab, you will find them under Poser Formats > My Library > Figures.

Are you looking in "Content Library > Poser Formats > My Library > Figures > DAZ People"?

Excellent - that explains it.
I can not get genesis or anything to run on the Windows 7 pc but Horrayy everything works now in Windows XP.

I am finally relieved that the monies I have spent are not wasted.

What is happening when you are trying to run it on the Win 7 machine?

On Windows 7 all the smart content and installed content have blank icons.
For example the Duke Hair has loads of icons but you cannot see what shade to apply.
All the icons have yellow triangles in them.

Have tried full uninstall and removed all traces but will not work even after reinstall.

Tried 32 bit version on 64 bit Win 7 - Worked at first then things kept disappearing.
