RENDER ISSUE: Iray Scene Update (Updating Geometry)

Hello, I'm trying to render an erotic scene. For some reason, as soon as I add any male genitalia to a character in the scene and try to render, it gets stuck "updating geometry" and never progresses, without even a preview of the render appearing in the pop-up. I'm am working on a mac laptop for the moment and rendering on CPU if that is relevant. I saw some warnings in the log file but don't really understand them.

Have you set high value (4) on Render SubD Level on the anatomical element or figure or other objects? and how many RAM do you have on the laptop ?

Not sure how to set value on SubD Level, it's my first time using anatomical element. Laptop has 32GB RAM

Nvm, took everything down to 1 subd level. working fine now. thanks very much

Thank you Crosswind, this worked for me.  One of my figures was set to 3,4 instead of the default, and iRay was locking up on updating geometry.
