I just don't like what that Dragon larvae thing clinging on her back appears to be doing to her.  When I saw the back view mild distaste went to ewwww, no!

I think she likes it devil

  • I can't really say I like, but I did get it since it was free and I was getting enough other stuff to throw it in the cart.  I doubt I will ever use it unless I can figure out how to separate the top part from the bottom part because the only part I liked was the part covering the breasts.  I'll have to see if there is a way to hide the stuff on the bottom at some time in the future.

    You trusted them. laugh

  • Was checking out the store on my laptop. Asked the boys in the breakroom to take a look at Dragon Queen. Immediate sniggerfest.

Did Daz even check out the rear view??

    Double standard much?

I find it facinating that the promos for this outfit are apparently perfectly aceptable, but the image you linked is a violation on the TOS. Very, very odd.

The tail that wraps around beneath the wearer is a separate material zone, so can be made invisible, but the rest of the dragon at the back is tightly integrated with the wings that cover the breasts, so would be tricky to remove.

People need to realize not everything is for them, and lighten up a bit and let other people have fun.

  • Personally, I dont care about how skimpy the outfit is. I dont particularly like it but thats just my preference. What I dont like is how the TOS continues to say NO, NO, NO when the DAZ store continues to say YES, YES, YES. Seriously, I have purchased a number of products here that I cant even post in the galleries because of TOS violations.

Its just like violence in the movies. You can kill as many people as you want and keep the rating PG-13, just dont show any blood because blood is bad!

Yup. It's why I dont bother uploading anything to the gallery anymore with links to all the Daz products I used.

Daz galleries mean nothing. Why care about them? Pretty much any thing Daz controls/moderates shouldn't be depended on too much. As an artist use other places to share your ideas. Express yourself freely elsewhere. This is an ecommerce site with a gallery to support that. That is all.

This isn't an art site, it just sells stock assets to speed up art creation.

I get your view though, but Daz is stubborn and hasn't changed for the better in ages. No point in fussing over it.

As I mentioned in another thread about this outfit. An outfit like that without heels is just wrong.

While I honestly don't particular care for the outfit, the lack of heels is what was most noticable for me.

as I cannot seem to find a way to get this delightful (cough) product, and yes I am actually trying connect in spite of not wanting it just to test it

    was thinking

could I pose Dragon 3 around her in that fashion and call it an outfit and submit to the gallery?

Now THAT would be an interesting picture!

But please add a similiarly clad male, one with muscles.

Personally, I love the outfit and, I've seen a lot worse too.

As for the render of that very sexy bloke... blush... Very nice! laugh I don't see why it was taken down. If there was any sight of an "anatomical element", then I could understand.

I don't suppose anyone could (please) tell me what hair was used in the render?

I was told it was removed because of nudity - specifically his hip.

I believe I used Scott hair for that render.

It appears to depict pubic hair, which is not allowed under DAZ TOS.

I think I need to visit the opticians again... I thought it was shading, I didn't realise it was hair... Sorry X/

From the promo thumbnails 5 and 6 it looks like the bottom is a thong attached to the back and it kind of hooks under the hiney parts so that seems like how it can stay on. Still seems wildly uncomfortable. Those boots, while interesting, seem impractical for much running around so maybe as a dragon queen she just lays around in the dragon lair or flies about on the dragons. Who knows what the life of a dragon queen is like anyway.

  • It's a strange world where people are "offended" (fauxffended?) by pink pixels, epsecially when there's not a murmur about products like this http://www.daz3d.com/severed-man but I guess dismemberment is ok ;)

Not that I'm disturbed by either and if things are to peoples' taste they shouldn't buy it, that's all. Don't know about you but most of my renders begin with loading up a nude figure before clothes are added. What do you folks do, cover your eyes at that point until the figures are fully clothed? :D

I think Dragon Queen is a decent product, add a second skin bodysuit underneath or mix and match with something else. That's what I plan to do.

Seriously though, what I would like to see is DAZ allow nudity both in their store promo images for characters (I want to see the whole texture I'm buying, thanks very much) and in the gallery, but behind an age confirmation opt-in.

There was actually quite a commotion about that when it first came out, I remember because I was one of those saying they were inappropriate for main page promotional images. I still think they are, but DAZ said it was fine and that's that.

What is rather um, unique is the leering dragon looking at her hiney in the second thumbnail promo.

Sad to say, Dragons can be like that..... what's that you say..... ? Don't talk like that about Dragons here..... ?

Sorry, my best buddy is a Dragon......... I don't want to get banned you know.....

There are only two possibilities this clamp sticks:

magic (you can explain everything with magic, as long a you throw logic overboard)

or glue (VERY inconvenient for the woman)

Titanium screws into the poor woman's bones....... ouch.....

Probably a last minute marketing decision. Until DAZ got wind of it, the free items were downloadable via DIM. And my other guess is the decision was to make getting a DAZ Connect only product for free would get them in more carts, and allow more people to see how easy Connect is... maybe to win over some of the naysayers... but I'm only guessing about any of it.

Now as far as the topic goes, I think the design is very creative. Impossible to actually wear, sans magic, but very creative. I've only one question for Valandar... Does the dragon have a hinge or something? It looks like using the "necessary" with that costume on would be a major production!

Actually, it is part of the dragon on her back. Look at the promo images of just the outfit. The crotch clamp is attached to the dragon's tail that covers just enought of her bum to meet DAZ's TOS. lol

That's exactly like when my "Magician sawing a lady in half - gone awry" (you can imagine) was deleted for TOS violence violation, followed the next day by the release of Severed Man in the store! angry The explanation was that forum TOS doesn't apply to the store.
