Daz 4.9 Celebration Sale makes no sense to me [clarified]

The sale banner says 49% off the Daz 3D store. Then it says today only, 49% off Daz Originals for PC+ members. What is special about today or PC+ membership if the whole Daz 3D store is already 49% off?

    Are Daz Originals that are PC+ items on sale for PC+ members?  As a non-member PC+ items are not on sale for me.

    I think so. Prices haven't settled for me yet. I still see them changing.

    DO's get both discounts for PC members so they're 74% off.

    This says the 49% replaces the 30%. So are the current DO prices an error that will be corrected later?

    No, the whole store is 49% off (except New Releases), and PC members get an additional 49% off rather than the additional 30% they usually get.

    New releases will be new for 60 days and have a "New" banner on them.

    Well I only spent $30 on the M7 Pro bundle ( yay for SURVEY-5 ). PC Member here. Final discount was somewhere over $100.

    LEo 7 pro bundle did not show a discount as good as M7, so I just settled for M7 and will get Leo and his HD addon at another time.

    Tickled pink. I've been wanting him for a bit but I knew a sale would come by. I was prepared to wait for March Madness though!

    Picked up Karen 7 Pro Bundle for 29.10 with PC coupon. Can't complain. Slow day for DIM. Presume lots of downloads.

    Wow.  Its showing FULL PRICE - $16.95 for me.

    EDIT:  Maybe its because its a PC item and Im not a member and no PC items are showing discounted for me.

    Almost everything is on sale. And I've already spent lots of money this month. Some really good deals though.

    Price in cart is a lot higher than listed price. What's up with that?

    Once again Daz can't seem to get a sale right and  changes part way through. For example Michael 7 Pro was $35 for PC+ this morning and is now $48. I had several other items in the cart and figured I had until midnight MST to buy, buy came back now and found everything more expensive, so now the cart gets emptied. Not like enough people are wound up about Connect already without the usual sale price silliness.

    A few hours ago, my discount showed 74% like the screen cap above.  Now it shows 65%.  Is this intentional?  If so, that's a pretty big bump in price on the pro bundles...

    Same here. It seems that even though we've actually been given a set time when the sale ends, the discount amount can randomly change for the worse with no notice. I've been debating some purchases all day, and having decided to make them I discover that more money is suddenly required to do it. Am I encouraged to go ahead and buy? Not likely. It only enforces the 'You are under pressure to buy it at this price sooner rather than risk it being more expensive once you've considered it' vibe I've been getting while shopping at Daz, one of the many reasons why I hate buying anything here and am more likely to put it off for hours rather than throw myself into the fray. I've spent more in the last month than I have in two or three of those preceding it, but the experience has only reminded me why I stopped shopping here so much and how welcome it felt when I did. Life's too short.

    Took me a few hours to fill the shopping cart, now that they suddenly changed the prices(discounts), I also emptied most of the cart!

    Seems like the shop is not working correctly anymore, DAZ Originals are now showing 0 % off  for me?

     

    Oh, what a waste of time....

    I went to check my piggy bank, I get back and all prices changed. Not cool, it feels like a bait and switch. I'm hoping it was an admin that hit the wrong button and will be correcting it soon because the Super Hot Diva promo page won't load correctly. I'll check back later. If this is intentional, I'll be taking my business elswhere because as a promotional tactic this doesn't fill me with any warm and fuzzy feelings.

    I was feeling excited to get such great deals ($35 per bundle), now I feel like I was lied to.angry
