Noggin's Macaw question

I was faffing around on a friends' computer and Daz3D and noticed that they had Noggin's Macaw.

I can't find find the words to describe what it looks like when posed (although it reminds me of some sort of glitch), so I've included a picture. It happens with most poses, but not all.

Was the product ever updated or have other users had (and solved) this problem. I asked my friend, but he couldn't remember... he doesn't get to use Daz3D as much as I do (he does a lot of drawing now). 

I really love the model and was thinking about purchasing it for myself. Any help would be appreciated.

    Have never seen the birdie do that before, then again I've only ever used him in Poser. There was some talk of it needing an update but that was ages ago, dunno if they ever got around to it. Would be nice if they did, though, it was one of the first 3d models I bought.
