    RamWolf it is a bit adjusted, the default appears to be too matte for my taste.

    So what I like to do is to adjust the glossy settings a bit.

    I did not save this scene so I cannot tell you the exact settings, but what I usually do is:

    - switch the shader mode to "Weighted"

    - adjust the glossy roughness to something between 50-70 and set the glossy weight (usually to a small number), also remove the glossy maps

    - do the same thing for the top coat but the roughness should be lower, below 50

    first proper render on my fixed computer reinstalled with the newest version of Daz 4.9 just a simple one only lights used are the hdmi from the iray worlds skydome and didn't play around with any settings so yeah I'm liking the new Gia 7

    Thanks.  I'll look into that.  I do notice that when I select the Weighted that the Glossy Roughness is hidden

    Yes I believe that upon switching to the "Weighted" mode, the glossy slider is set to 0 - turned completely off so you actually have to go in and adjust it to your liking.
