Rendering Stonemason's Old streets of London

Hi,

I've been looking at the promo for this item and I was wondering if it was 3Delight only, or if it had Iray presets too?

Thank you (and apologies if this has already been asked).

  • I've rendered this in Iray.  It looks great just by hitting it with the Uber Iray Shader.  I went through and added all of the settings on the lights in the emission channel to glow a soft yellow glow for a gaslight effect, turned on the bloom and it was fantastic!  Unfortunately, then I added in all the fog and you really can't see the textures of Stonemason's Old London.  It looked great, though, before and after fog!

You can see that render here in my gallery.  I believe I have a base render somewhere of the London set without the fog, if you want me to track it down and see how it looked.  I usually do several renders throughout to keep track of different stages of a render's development.  I'm sure I have several sans fog if you want to see them.

    Thanks, to both of you.

Kittingmommy: I've just seen your render. It's pretty awesome ^^ I've also tried to do glowing eyes in Iray. It took me quite a few days to figure out the right luminosity.

I'm happy with what I've seen in the promo pics, but thank you for the offer :)

I keep forgetting about the Uber Iray shader.

I wanted to do a render of the Streets, covered in snow, at night. I've got the sky and snow, I'm just waiting to get my hands on the scene.

Thank you for the compliment on my render.  It was a little frustrating figuring out how to get all of that to work in Iray, but SO worth it.  The eyes were especially difficult to get just the right luminosity for me too.  Glad I was able to help.
