Exporting animations with mcjTeleBlender
I successfully extracted mcjTeleBlender2.zip in the file directory C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\scripts\mcasual folder. And, I extracted the various python files of mcjBlendBot2.zip to the C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.76\scripts\modules folder.
I have a 30 frame animation. When I run mcjTeleBlender in Daz and click "Export Animation," it exports 0 - 29 .mtl files of 2 KBs each and 0 - 29 .obj files of 33 MB each
-- one mtl file and one obj file for each frame. This totals a whopping 990 MBs for a 30 frame animation. I then have to open Blender 2.76 and import each of the .obj files which it treats as thirty separate objects.
Is there a more efficient method, that I am unaware of, to export animations from Daz3D to Blender?

If you post in the mcjTeleBlender thread, Casual is often very responsive, unless he is tied up playing with Kinect again

That's one of the reasons i created the UseMatLib option - note that the more complete version of the manual is the release page for the old mcjTeleBlender 1 here: https://sites.google.com/site/mcasualsdazscripts/mcjteleblender-for-ds1-2-3-4 note also that unless you use old versions of Blender, you should use mcjTeleBlender3 instead of mcjTeleBlender2 ( though if TB2 works for you then that's also okay ! :) ) so UseMat, if you read the manual works this way you use mcjTeleBlender to send 1 frame over to Blender you adjust the materials to your liking you save this Blender Scene as, forExample MyMaterialsForTodaysMovie.blend then in teleblender's render settings you select UseMatLib in the render options then you browse-to and select your MyMaterialsForTodaysMovie.blend as the "material library" then you can render the scene of the animation and mcjBlendBot will re-use the MyMaterialsForTodaysMovie.blend materials also note that there is an option in teleblender to create a single shared .mtl file for animations
