What are Pre-Loads?

As an example, I purchased this asset. It says "and Pre-Loads included" in the product description. What is the purpose of a "Pre-Load"?

    A preload loads the whole scene, with all the props in place.

    How does that differ from "Ready to Render Scene", which is listed seperatly and has a seperate icon in the content library?

    Preloads are usually for a particular product, and generally just architecture/environment and props (and sometimes lights and cameras).  Ready to Render scenes usually encompass multiple products and include the character, hair, outfit, and pose as well.
