GoZ: "update base mesh" vs. "create morph" ??

Hey guys,
I am curious what most of you would use in a typical situation, of say, modifying an item of clothing into a new shape. What would be more appropriate option to choose when re-importing the object back into Daz; update the base mesh, or create a new morph (or replace existing morph)? I am just trying to get a handle on how each option should be properly used... still getting used to everything here.

I prefer having it as an additional morph, unless the new base modification shape is one you are always going to use. End of the day the choice is yours:)
