Lake Village - some questions
http://www.daz3d.com/lake-village
1. Has someone this product and if so, how is it?
2. Buildings: indoor renders possible or are they just created for outdoor renders?
3. Are props like plants and stuff and also ships single props or just included in the scene? (can be that I just want to use a ship for example or the village without all the props)
4. If props are included in the scene, can they be hidden? (If someone wants no plants or fish-stands)
In general:
Content creators, please, if you do huge sets like this that includes props, please do a complete version and one without all the props and add a prop folder with all props as single items. I often need only a prop for a scene and have to load the complete set, delete everything that I do not need (if possible) and save it as a scene. That is not good.

Comments
The buildings have interiors -- no interior furniture, but there are roof support beams and fully textured interiors. There is just a single preload, but all the individual props are separate objects and can be hidden or saved out individually.
okay, thank you for the information. Unfortunatelly that seems to be a lot of work to save single props out, I can`t understand why content creators do not offer a preload with probs and one without and add a prop folder. That I do not get. For them it is less work then for us, they have all the props as single items, they just have to put them into a folder.
You answered your own question...yes it is work and sometimes the extra isn't going to be worth the time. Either the price would be higher or it may not make it to 'complete' and then into the store. Or not enough extra sales would occur to make that time worth it.
Remember that if the vendor does it, s/he needs to do it for every prop, with a nice thumbnail for each, and probably two versions, one that loads into the correct place in the scene and one zeroed. And QA needs to test each one, which can add a lot of time before the product can be released. While I appreciate it when products come with all that, for the vendor it may be a choice between 20 props each with an individual preset, or one scene with 200 props.
But more work for them and you can't expect PAs to have the same type of usage planned for it as you do. I know when I model a scene, I usually have an artistic vision of what I am creating and what uses "I" have for it which probably if different than many other users.
I have taken quite a few scenes apart because I only wanted to use a few items at a time. Stonemasons enchanted forest, I have just the vines as an .OBJ because i had a use for them and them only.
is it really so much work for them to put their props in an extra prop folder? If they can place their props in a scene they can also put them into an extra folder and after creating a set with all props, how much work is it to delete all the add on props and save a second set as second for us?
You are ignoring the need to create thumbnails and the time in testing (both the vendor's testing and QA), not to mention having to repeat at least some of the work if fixes are found to be required. As Mike says, it's nice when there are separate props - and I do consider it a selling point if I'm wavering - but it isn't something that should be expected.
