I gather it's fine to use purchased models in a commercial endeavor - as long as your not trying to resell the model/file itself. If this is correct, why do you need a game license to use a purchased model for a game you're making? Kinda comes down to the same thing, where the latter is simply more interactive. Are there models on DAZ that are Not for commercial use in general? I've never seen indiaction, whereas searches at Renderosity brings up tons of stuff that says not for commercial use.

Games require the actual geometry to be copied into the game, whilst renders don't.

Commercial Use means using the product in a render, video or animation that is then sold. Almost everything from the Daz Store are able to be used for Commercial projects of this sort. There are just one or two which aren't, and they will state that on the store page, as in this product, in the notes  http://www.daz3d.com/anna-marie-goddard-digital-clone

Game Dev is different as ,unless it is a sprite based game, it is using the actual product mesh. This is only legal if used in conjunction with game dev license or licenses, as the Game dev licenses have a different EULA.

    Greetings,

Caveat: My understanding is that items sold on morph3d.com have a 'built-in' game development license.

Everything sold on daz3d.com, though, has restrictions if you use the actual models in the games (as opposed to rendering sprites of the models).
