Nowadays I'm always happy to see vampires that don't have shiny sparkle effects...

    Thanx guys!...glad you like :)

    Indeed.

He is seriously awesome; the first image spoils it though: a loing cloth that doesn't hang down. Minor point I know.

Agreed, he looks: unnatural, unfriendly and undead - not something wimpy and teen-friendly.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Those damn glowbugs ain't vampires...any self-respecting vampire would stake himself if done up like that.

    *************

    One question, Raw...

Is there a toenail morph like the fingernails...and if not, why not?

First (and only) G3 character I've bought to date - Nosferatu finally got me to take the plunge. Incredibly awesome work, Rawn!

Immediately popped him into a scene, selected one of the included poses and rendered a quick sketch of him NPR-style. Rendered with no issues thanks to the included 3DL mats . . . and he looks awesome!

    Highly recommended.

Thanks, but all the hard work was done by Rawn - not me. All I did was load the character in my default lighting/environment, load one of the poses they included, and run the script to render it. I do wish I had taken 2 more seconds to adjust his neck/head/eyes to make him look at the camera, though. Oh well, I see many more renders of him in my future . . .

Off to play with the 4 other products I picked up in the same order (Wither, Cyclops, Ogora, and Clown Clan 2). What a great way to start the new year!

All Raw's characters are super amazing but not my cup of tea.  Glad to keep my purse closed on this sale :D

Great render! What script did you use to get the pencil drawing effect?

This one took a while to render, but I like it.  I bought a few more things from Raw's store, but I haven't got to them yet....this one is way too much fun!

How do you add the picture without the attachment?

    Solved:

    hood

To post it inline without being an attachment, you need to upload it somewhere...

But, even after you have it as an attachment, you can still make it an inline picture...just click on it and copy the url from where it was uploaded (the Daz servers) and then edit your post.  In the edit box, click the image button (looks like a landscape picture), paste the url you copied into the URL box and adjust the size (should be between 640 and 800 wide to not break screen formatting)...then click the link tab in the image box and paste the same url there, then in the drop down below that select New Window.  That will open the full size image in a new browser window or tab.

Thanks!  My image was too big...I made it smaller so I could insert it.  Nice pic by the way---the tongue make him look extra creepy.

    And another one...

<listening to 'Cry Little Sister' while rendering...>

I think I should warn you all, when a vampire bites it, it's never a pretty sight. No two bloodsuckers go the same way. Some yell and scream, some go quietly, some explode, some implode, but all will try to take you with them.

    Really digging the renders :)

  • It really is a fantastic figure. RawArt definitely knows how to pull a marvel out the bag. I've got tons of Raw's figures already so I'm sure this will join my collection soon

I'll be honest, when I first saw Nosferatu, he really freaked me out. But after seeing these renders, I've changed my mind (espcially with the b&w ones).

I really do love the sketch render. (Sorry for going at little off-topic), but what would you use to achieve that effect? (That's if it is avaliable in the store). Thanks :)

Great character Rawn. Could have a lot of fun with this one, plus some others I've picked up in your Birthday sale. Cheers. :)

    Just a quick break....

It's a set of tools/scripts that I've been working on for years decades.

I agree (don't want to get too off topic here). I started a thread on NPR in the Art Studio last year, but a lot has changed since then. It's getting late here, and I'm beat. Rather than going necro on that one, I'll start a new thread tomorrow with another image of Nosferatu.

If you do start a new thread about that, please share a link...i am always looking for good ways to render as a sketch.

Yeah, ditto. I've struggled a lot with trying to render 'like a drawing.' I've mostly abandoned it -- I can get good results, but I find that for my primary uses I prefer to explore photorealism.
