whooot! Porsimo updated Fantasy Weapons for the G3 line! thank you!

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!! Just noticed that the Fantasy Weapons collections have been updated for Genesis 3 Female and Genesis 3 Male and iray settings!!

    Yep. It will take a while though, but so far I've made new improved mats for the revolver & AK. There will be a new product out before I finish this.

    Thanks for drawing my attention to these updates, jakiblue - I wondered why they were in my Updated Products list but the ReadMe's have not been updated (and indeed for collection 2 the ReadMe doesn't exist at all)

    @Porsimo: I only see updates for Fantasy Weapons Collection "1" and 2 but not 3 - is this going to be updated too?

    #3 is showing as "new" in the store, which should mean it got updated also. 

    I've only purchased #1 which is why it's in my updated products in DIM so dont' know why #3 would'nt be showing?

    Hi Melanie!

    All of these three updates are free for previous owners. I guess it's because #3 took a week longer to get through QA than the other two and I've noticed that it takes a while for products to appear in DIM. I just checked and it's showing for me so it should be out for others too. So, if you still can't see it I suggest to contact Daz.

    Or is this a wider problem? Are there others who can't see the update?

    There seems to be a problem with the installer, but I've contacted Daz about it.

    OK, thanks - I'll wait a couple of days and try again - I have plenty of weapons in Packs 1 and 2 to keep me going! I love these sets, so the Iray and Genesis 3 updates will make a good thing even better laugh

    I'm glad to hear that wink

     

    The issue with the installer seems to be that its content hasn't been updated so we have to wait for a new one (unless I'm mistaken, which is very possible).

    That's just Collection 3 we need to re-download, then? Great, thanks. I've run test Iray renders of the other two sets, it might just be the better lighting, but IMHO they really do look a lot better than in 3Delight.

    Yeah, sets #1 and #2 should've been updated correctly. The issue with the third one was that DIM kept pushing the old installer as an update, but that's been now fixed. To be sure, you can check the file size: The old "Fantasy Weapons Collection 3 DS" file was approx. 200 MB while the new - and correct one - is around 458 MB.

    Ah, I already have that one. Okay, this is one unexpected feature of never using DIM — the proper installer was there all along in the Product Library page.
