Ran out of space in the title.  But....

In the old forums, there was a feature -- a checkbox, if memory serves -- that allowed you to be notified whenever somebody replied/commented on a discussion thread.  Whatever happened to that?

Will it be back?

    There's an option if you click on the gearbox in the upper right then go to your profile then message settings. You can bookmark any thread by clicking on the star and use that in conjunction with the notifications.

    If you look at the line that the title is on there is a little empty star at the right end of the line. If you click that little star it fills in and you get the notices.

    I edited my profile, and I think I'm good to go.

    Although, that option, 'Notify me when people mention me'....  I'm not all that sure I want to know, so I left that one un-checked! cheeky

    The one I miss is the PM marker... I used to love seeing say-  Messages: 0... Now I have to open up a menu to see the 0...

    Mine always said 'Messages: 1'.  So I'd page through all of my messages, searching for the one that I missed.

    I never found it.
